Smith Temple Church of God in Christ is a church moving to provide a wholistic approach to edifying, educating, and preparing people to know, understand, and do God's will.
The body of Smith Temple Church of God in Christ seeks to fulfill the spiritual needs of people within and without the physical church. We seek to fulfill bodily needs (food, housing, education, skills, etc.) of the people within and without the physical church. And, we seek to increase membership in the Body of Christ. This is our mission.

Join Us each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for Sunday School and 11:30 a.m. for Worship Service. Feel free to also join us each Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for Bible Study.

Pastor Werdell Kirk is asking for your help and support of the victims of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. As can be imagined, with an earthquake of this magnitude the island country has experienced substantial damage to its infrastructure, businesses and homes. Additionally, the fear exists that thousands of Haitian citizens are casualties of this earthquake and thousands more have experienced serious injury. It is difficult to anticipate the devastation experienced by the citizens of Haiti. But consider this, it could very easily have been your homeland and you too would hope and desire that the World would reach out to you. Read more...
